THE CHALLENGE:

Annalisa Buchanan and Georgia Torrance, Co-founders of The Fitness Education Academy, sought to revolutionise the fitness education landscape in Scotland and parts of England.

With a mission to provide comprehensive and inclusive fitness training, they faced the challenge of creating an educational institution that not only equipped aspiring fitness professionals with the necessary skills but also fostered a supportive community within the industry.

Given the competitive nature of the fitness education sector, Annalisa and Georgia chose Origin Fitness to help them design the perfect fitness haven that best suits their needs.

THE SOLUTION:

To address the diverse needs of aspiring fitness professionals, The Fitness Education Academy focused on offering a wide range of training courses tailored to various fitness disciplines and career paths.

Drawing inspiration from independent gyms, Origin has carefully curated a range of equipment for Club FEA to use in their beautiful space. Crumb Rubber Bumper Plates, Gym Division Rubber Hex Dumbbells, Origin Wall Balls, Performance Series Rack with storage shelves housing Dip Handles, Med Ball Target, Mat Hanger and a Multi-Grip Pull Up Bar.

In the middle of the space, we have installed the Origin Elite Sprint Track with an Alpha Prowler Sled. We made sure to add in an Origin Hip Thruster Box for a great glute workout.

On the other side of the room, Club FEA created a space for the lover of weights and strength; with a pair of our iconic Origin Performance Series Half Rack, and a couple of Origin 20kg Powerlifting Bars. This area provides plenty of space for those who want to work on the heavy compound lifts.

In the corner, Club FEA added the Origin Adjustable Pulley, with two 100kg weight stacks that allow all gym members to scale their workouts efficiently and safely. The Cardio section does not lack variety either, offering the members the option of an Impulse Pro Treadmill, Concept 2 Rowing Machine, Origin Storm Air Bike and a Concept 2 Skierg.

THE OUTCOME:

The feedback from students has been overwhelmingly positive, with many praising the academy's comprehensive curriculum, knowledgeable instructors, and well-equipped gym.

Graduates of The Fitness Education Academy are not only well-prepared to excel in their roles as fitness professionals but also use the gym to bring their clients and start their very own PT careers.
