The Origin Performance Series Safety Straps are a safe alternative to metal spotter arms. They are made of heavy-duty nylon straps that have some give allowing them to absorb impacts without putting too much pressure on a single joint. Straps can be adjusted to different heights to ensure barbells roll away from the user if dropped, providing a safer lifting experience and reducing scratches on barbells.
Our Performance Series Safety Straps provide a safe alternative to metal spotter arms. They have some distinct advantages: the heavy-duty nylon straps have a bit of give, so they can absorb lots of impact without putting too much pressure or stress on single joints or seams (like metal spotter arms).
The other advantage is the ability to put the connection points at different heights so that when a barbell is dropped it rolls away from the user. This means users can safely fail lifts without the fear of the barbell landing on them. It will also reduce scratches and marks found on barbells compared to traditional metal catcher options.
