Origin Technique Weight Plates are just 2.5kg or 5kg in total weight. Technique plates make it possible to practice the correct lifting technique before moving on to lifting with heavy weights. The plates are designed to mimic regular bumper plates meaning they won't get damaged when dropped during power movement practice.

As important as it is to get stronger, technique in weightlifting can always be improved and we've seen firsthand the demand for technique plates increase over the past few years. We created these bumper plates to allow the focus to be placed on correcting form, before trying to lift heavier.
Origin Technique Weight Plates weigh 2.5kg or 5kg, meaning they only add a small amount to barbells. This allows lifters to focus on developing their technique before lifting heavy. Doing this prevents injuries and helps with perfecting lifting technique.
