The challenge:
Opening a personal training studio is a significant step for any fitness professional. For Mark Jenkins, it was the natural progression of a coaching career built on trust, results, and a clear sense of the environment he wanted to create for his clients.
Fearless Gym in Musselburgh needed to be a quiet, focused space - somewhere clients could train without distraction, with equipment that matched the quality of the coaching on offer. The space available wasn't vast, so every decision about layout and equipment had to be deliberate. Nothing could be wasted, and nothing could be missing.
Mark needed a partner who would take his brief seriously, help him think through the options, and see the project through without him having to manage every detail himself.
The solution:
Mark worked closely with account manager Matthew O'Connor from the outset. The starting point was understanding how Mark coached, how his clients trained, and what the space needed to feel and function like on a day-to-day basis. From there, Matthew helped develop a layout and equipment plan that made the most of the available space without it ever feeling crowded or compromised.
The equipment selection was built around the demands of personal training: versatile, high quality, and capable of supporting a wide range of clients and training styles. The layout was planned to keep the space feeling open and controlled, giving Mark and his clients the focus and privacy that a one-to-one training environment demands. Every piece was chosen with purpose rather than to fill a specification sheet.
Origin managed the full delivery and installation, ensuring everything was in place and set up correctly before Mark opened his doors. The process from initial quote through to completed install was handled smoothly, with prompt delivery and a finished result that Mark was confident in from day one.
