Department role
The Finance team play a critical role in achieving our business objectives, by ensuring we accurately and timeously account for the company’s income and expenses to manage the flow of money so the business can run successfully.
Job description
Origin Fitness are looking for a Finance Administrator to join our vibrant and growing company who believes in our company vision and values. Working in a small team of 3 you will report directly to the Finance Director and be integral to the team in ensuring the maintenance of accurate financial records by managing both accounts payable and accounts receivable functions. The successful applicant will also provide finance administration support to ensure the finance operation runs smoothly.
Responsibilities
- Accurate processing of purchase and sales invoices
- Reconciling bank and general ledger accounts
- General finance and credit control assistance
- Supplier statement reconciliations
- Communicating and answering calls from customers, suppliers and dealing with general enquiries
- Process mileage, credit card and expense claims
- Upload supplier payments to bank
- Assist with the preparation of management accounts and month end procedures
- Assist with ad hoc finance projects and tasks as required
- Support the Finance Manager and team
Skills & experience required
- Previous experience in a similar finance accounting role
- Excellent administrative skills
- Be highly organised with meticulous attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- IT literate including MS office applications
- Ability to work independently but also as part of a small team
Desirable skills & experience
Experience of Microsoft Business Central or Navision
AAT qualified or equivalent
