Finance Team

The Finance team plays a critical role in achieving our business objectives by ensuring accurate and timely accounting of income and expenses. This enables effective cash flow management and supports the successful operation of the business.

We are looking for a Senior Finance Administrator to join our vibrant and expanding team. You’ll work closely with the Finance Manager in a small team of three, providing essential administrative support to ensure the smooth running of our finance operations.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Lead and support the finance team’s day-to-day operations
  2. General finance and credit control assistance
  3. Assist with month-end procedures and file preparation
  4. Support payroll and pension processing
  5. Handle HMRC submissions (PAYE, VAT)
  6. Manage trade loans and reconciliations
  7. Prepare weekly cashflow reports
  8. Contribute to the general running of the office
  9. Account database updates and maintenance
  10. Mileage, credit card, and expense claim processing
  11. Accurate processing of purchase and sales invoices
  12. Bank and general ledger account reconciliations
  13. Supplier statement reconciliations and payments
  14. Customer and supplier communications and enquiries

Essential Skills & Experience

  1. Minimum 3 years’ experience in bookkeeping/accounts
  2. Proficiency in Business Central or Navision (NAV)
  3. Strong administrative and organisational skills
  4. Ability to prioritise in a fast-paced environment
  5. Meticulous attention to detail
  6. Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  7. IT literate, including MS Office applications
  8. Able to work independently and collaboratively
