Origin 25kg Trap Bar

Our Origin Trap Bar is an excellent addition to all strength and conditioning facilities. The Origin Trap Bar weighs 25kg and are the ideal specialist barbell for shrugs, deadlifts, farmer's walks, squats and a wide variety of other exercises.

The trap bar is great for gyms where space is an issue due to its compact design and it is a great tool for helping teach beginners the basics of compound movements such as the deadlift. The trap bar can also provide a greater contraction by eliminating contact with the upper thighs and torso.

The neutral handle position makes gripping the bar more comfortable and enables a straighter back position. This protects the user's back and lumbar spine through a more upright starting position from stepping into the barbell compared to starting behind it. It results in the hips and legs being used as opposed to the back. It’s also a great tool for beginners to learn deadlifting or for taller athletes who find a regular barbell difficult to use.
