Account Manager - West Midlands
We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our team as a Sales Account Manager, focusing on the educational sector within the Midlands region. This hands-on role requires a tenacious and proactive attitude, along with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
As a Sales Account Manager, you will execute a sales strategy aimed at growing your area by maximising existing relationships and creating new ones. The ideal candidate will be competitive, results-driven, and capable of delivering success under pressure, with a clear focus on proactive business development.
Location: West Midlands
Salary: £30,000 - 37,000 OTE up to £65,000
Contract Type: Full Time.

Responsibilities
- Ensure you deliver your weekly, monthly, quarterly, and yearly activity targets.
- Manage and deliver an accurate monthly and quarterly sales pipeline.
- Work with our company Salesforce CRM system to manage all customer communication and pipeline activity consistently and professionally.
- Develop and implement a strategic approach to managing a specified region, focusing on both new and existing customers.
- Help develop and then deliver a strategic approach to managing a specified region that includes both new and existing customers.
- Qualify, develop, and then convert new leads to opportunities.
- Build and then manage customer relationships to inspire customers to continue to partner with Origin Fitness.
- Produce and present tailored proposals based on understanding a customer’s needs.
- Keep yourself up to date with the latest in industry trends and how they impact the different sectors you manage.
- Engage in face-to-face meetings and relationship-building activities with customers at least 3- 4 days a week.

- Skilled in business development and sales management.
- Ability to travel regularly.
- Ability to develop ideas through to a complete strategy.
- Strong initiative and creativity with an openness to learn.
- Ensure you always follow and deliver on the company values.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a natural communicator.
- Ability to help motivate other team members.
- An excellent presenter.
- A clear passion for the sport and fitness industry is essential.
- Awareness of Origin Fitness and its competitors.
- Excel, Word, E-Mail (Microsoft Outlook), PowerPoint
- Ability to do outbound proactive business development using; email, phone, and social media
Desirable Skills & Experience
- Experience with Salesforce or any other CRM database.
- Proven record in Sales.
- EC Design, Autosketch, CAD or similar drawing tool experience would be an advantage.
