Performance Flooring

When it came to creating this bespoke flooring concept for the FAW, we used a variety of our flooring products and our extensive experience in creating seamless free weight and performance areas all across the UK.

The FAW wanted to create a one-level flooring system throughout the gym, from stretching and mobility to the plyometric track and performance free weights. By starting with the flooring, we created a space that can accommodate multiple different types of training, meeting the needs of every type of session and player.

We were able to deliver this concept by installing;

Origin High Impact 40mm Tile

: chosen for the free weights zone and paired alongside our

Origin Bespoke Branded Oak inserts

for the Olympic lifting area.

Origin Fitness Roll

and

Underlay

with bespoke markings for the plyometric track.

Origin Premium Fitness Mats

for a stretch and mobility zone.

Performance Equipment

As part of the stretch and mobility zone, we introduced our Origin Elite Series Bridge that was designed to span the entire space and therefore provide a larger overall training area under and around the bridge – whilst giving dedicated locations for functional, pull-up, suspension, and mobility stations.

Three Olympic lifting stations were installed, all of them equipped with an Origin Elite Multi Rack, Multi Adjustable Bench, and Training Bumpers for any user's training sessions.

For performance testing and cardio rehabilitation work, the Origin OC5 and Wattbike’s were installed.
