Origin Fitness recently worked with Revolution Fitness in the design, planning and realisation of their new facility in Airdie. This case study takes a look at their incredibly successful launch, which saw the team presell over 100 memberships based just on their pre-promotion using the designs Origin Fitness created for the gym.

Objective

David Crawford, Owner of Revolution Fitness, had a vision of creating a large, flexible space which could offer individual strength training and PT support as well as host large group exercise classes. A separate area was set aside for all cardio equipment, keeping the whole facility well organised and multi-purpose.

Design

This project was delivered with requirement of an exceptionally fast turnaround, with only a couple of weeks passing between the first meeting and the final designs being signed off by David. Sales Manager Harry Russell made sure the layout and designs were completely representative of the key components David had laid out for him. It was critical that Origin achieved the flexibility the space needed to offer to deliver the highly varied programme Revolution had planned for their members.

Equipment

Every piece of equipment installed at Revolution Fitness was provided by Origin Fitness, a fact of which David is very proud. He opted to base his equipment selection completely around the key Impulse and Origin ranges, which results in a very uniform look all the way through the facility. Alongside this, all of the weight plates, flooring, racks and accessories are also from Origin’s latest range.

Outcome

The result is a visually impressive, multi-functional space that looks and feels as professional as the extensive programme delivered within it. The gym is a full representation of everything David had envisioned for Revolution Fitness and the members are reportedly over the moon, fully utilising all the aspects the facility has on offer.
