With the success of our first collaboration at Total Fitness Whitefield in 2021, Origin Fitness was chosen to redevelop a further two sites based in Preston and Wigan. Following comprehensive refurbishment at each site, Total Fitness set a new standard for fitness facilities.
Partnering with Origin Fitness, the aim across each site was to create a modern and diverse space catering to the evolving needs of a wide range of fitness enthusiasts. This was an exciting project to work on and the finished sites are a testament to the hard work of everyone involved.
Our goal with Total Fitness was to refurbish and reinvent the club's spaces encompassing new layout designs, flooring, fitness equipment, and the creation of functional zones. Origin played a key role in implementing the designs and concepts, introducing a range of premium fitness equipment to the first site in Whitefield.
Moving into early 2022, we started work at Total Fitness Preston to redefine the space and introduce new innovative gym equipment. The goal was to create an environment that exuded modernity and catered to the evolving needs of different fitness enthusiasts. We think this site might be one of our favourites.
Spring of the same year saw Total Fitness Wigan start its journey to transform the facilities to meet the diverse needs of a growing membership base and improve member satisfaction. Origin played a crucial role in reshaping the gym's functional zones adding new innovative gym equipment to the site.
Total Fitness Whitefield
Combining four Origin Power Cages with Origin Platforms and Origin Crumb Rubber Bumper Plates, the lifting zone was one of the biggest transformations. Giving the entire area a warm inviting atmosphere and making it a fantastic spot to train alone or with other athletes.
The reinvented space downstairs has truly helped bring this gym to life and given its members even more than they already had. The old family area has been completely changed into its functional zone. It is perfect for members who want to train in groups or who want a different type of workout.
A bespoke Elite Storage Rig with two half racks, a bridge, and storage is featured in the functional zone. The layout now includes a cardiovascular section next to the functional zone with the Origin Storm Air Bikes for the ultimate HIIT or Hyrox workout. It's a terrific place to do full-body workouts and push your cardiovascular fitness to new heights!
Total Fitness - Preston
Moving into the new space in Preston, a wide range of Origin Fitness products were introduced such as our Slam Balls and the Hinged Storage Cage which keeps functional zones tidy. The Performance Series Power Rack is a multifunctional centrepiece while the Cross Training Bars and Leather Punch Bag seamlessly integrate into the redesigned space. Total Fitness Preston’s commitment to providing top-tier equipment highlights their dedication to member satisfaction.
Total Fitness - Wigan
Venturing down to the Wigan site you’ll find Battle Ropes, the Multi-Sided Plyo Box, Urethane Hex Dumbbells, and the Alpha Prowler Sled which adds a dynamic and challenging element to the gym. These products enhanced the aesthetic appeal while providing a platform for diverse and intense workouts.
