THE CHALLENGE:

Big Motoring World, a leading company in the automotive industry, recognised the importance of employee health and well-being. Seeking to enhance their workplace culture and promote a healthier lifestyle among their staff, they embarked on the journey of establishing a corporate gym at their Gillingham Head Office.

With a diverse workforce and varying fitness levels among employees, the challenge was to create a fitness space that catered to everyone's needs while fostering a sense of community within the company.

THE SOLUTION:

Tom Alder, the account manager from Origin Fitness, understood the significance of tailoring the gym layout to accommodate a wide range of fitness preferences.

Collaborating closely with Big Motoring World's management team, Tom proposed a comprehensive selection of fitness equipment that covered both cardio and strength training aspects.

The cardio section was carefully curated to include a variety of machines such as the Impulse RT700 Treadmill, Impulse RE700 Elliptical Trainer, Impulse RU700 Upright Bike , Impulse RR700 Recumbent Bike, and the Impulse XSC700 Stair Climber.

For the lover of strength training, Origin has selected a set of Origin UD3 Urethane Dumbbells in a range of 2kg-70kg, Impulse IF93 Dual Bicep/Tricep Machine, Impulse IF93 Vertical Row/Lat Pulldown Machine, Impulse IT95 Lateral Raise, GymNation ensured that members had access to tools that supported their fitness goals.

Additionally, to provide a unique workout experience, Origin Fitness introduced their signature Origin Storm series, comprising the Curved Treadmill, Air Bike, and Ski Trainer.

For strength training enthusiasts, a diverse range of equipment was chosen, including the Origin Smith Machine, Adjustable Pulley, Multi Adjustable Bench, and the Impulse T-Bar Row.

To accommodate different fitness levels, Origin UD3 Urethane Dumbbell Sets ranging from light to heavy weights were included, along with the premium 15-tier Dumbbell Rack for organised storage.

To maximise space utilisation and functionality, the gym featured the Origin Performance Series Half Rack with integrated storage solutions, including Wall Ball storage, J hooks, Spotter Arms, and a Wall Ball Target.

THE OUTCOME:

With the completion of the corporate gym at Big Motoring World's Gillingham Head Office, employees now have access to a state-of-the-art fitness facility designed to support their health and wellness goals.

The feedback from staff members has been overwhelmingly positive, with many expressing appreciation for the variety of equipment available and the convenience of having a gym on-site.

This is an impressive example of a corporate gym. We have decided to add in some dual-function, pin-loaded machines. The purpose of this is to maximise the space.
