THE CHALLENGE:

Working with Sheffield University at the Goodwin Sports Centre to update their on-site gym! This required taking on one of Origin's largest flooring projects to date across multiple areas on the site.

THE SOLUTION:

The brand-new flooring takes up two levels of the dedicated building and provides different zoned sections for all types of workouts. As part of this project, we were also delighted to work with Gym Logistics on this broad gym flooring installation project.

The focal point of the entire project was the Origin 40mm High Impact Tiles, from intense classes to heavy lifting workouts, they can survive the toughest challenges whilst protecting the flooring underneath. This versatile flooring tile ismade with recycled rubber featuring properties that reduce sounds, impacts, and vibrations. making it the best overall gym flooring option for this project.

THE OUTCOME:

We have had the privilege to work with Goodwin Sports Center once again for the fourth flooring project in five years. Brett and Peter trusted us to deliver on the biggest project by far, with over 1000m2 across two floors in the gym. This is also one of the biggest flooring installs that Origin has undertaken, so it was great to be a part of history!
