Parts Store Operative

We are seeking a forward-thinking and highly motivated individual to join our warehouse team as Parts Stores Operative and contribute to our current success in the Fitness Industry. Our warehouse is a vital part of our supply chain, and it makes for fast-moving, busy, and varied work and you will ideally have previous experience of working in a similar environment. We are one big team, and we are looking for helpful, outgoing people who can have a good relationship with and support others.

The Service Department play a critical role in achieving our business objectives, by ensuring that we service customer faults or complaints reported across the UK.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsibilities

  • Check and receipt stock from suppliers on to location-based system
  • Separate and label all stocks with the appropriate SKU
  • Identify and report any shortages/damages on receipt.
  • Accurately check any returns and ensure they are re-stocked correctly
  • Pack and label for either engineer collection or despatch.
  • Daily picking of parts based on pick note location and despatch date.
  • Carry out daily stock checks to ensure accuracy of stock on system.
  • Working with the rest of the team to meet personal and team KPI’s, ensuring Origin Fitness deliver on time and in full to our customers and maintain the exacting standards expected by our clients.
  • Assisting with regular audits of the warehouse in line with defined customer standard.

  • Liaising with warehouse personnel with regards to parts movements and handling


Essential Skills & Experience

  • Ideally you will be Computer literate in Microsoft Office packages and working knowledge of Inventory Management systems.
  • Have good written and spoken communication skills.
  • Good housekeeping and excellent organisational skills.
  • A committed approach to work
  • Previous experience of working as a Parts Store Operative in a busy warehouse environment.
  • To enjoy working as part of a team in a fast-paced, busy environment.
  • Ability to work methodically and quickly.
  • Passionate with the ability to take ownership of queries and confidently resolve issues where required..
  • Attention to detail and the ability to proactively resolve complications.

  • Ability to effectively organise and prioritise your workload to achieve targets in the most efficient way.
  • Ability to multitask.
  • Excellent time management skills and work ethic
  • Ability to stand on your feet for hours
  • Ability to lift heavy items
