THE CHALLENGE:

Kenilworth School & Sixth Form, part of the Kenilworth Multi Academy Trust, is a prestigious educational institution in the heart of England. In collaboration with Origin Fitness, the school aimed to enhance its commitment to well-being by establishing a state-of-the-art fitness centre.

This facility not only serves the school community, but is also open to the public, promoting a culture of health and fitness beyond the academic setting.

The main goal was to provide a diverse range of equipment to cater to various fitness needs and foster a sense of community and well-being among students and the public. They also wanted to incorporate a fitness centre seamlessly within the school infrastructure whilst ensuring the gym appealed to both student and the public. Lastly, they required equipment that could meet the diverse fitness requirements of a range of users and create an environment that encourages community engagement and well-being.

THE SOLUTION:

1. Custom Fitness Centre Design:

Origin Fitness collaborated closely with Kenilworth Multi Academy Trust to design a fitness centre that seamlessly integrated into the school's architecture. The facility features a modern and inviting layout, encouraging students and the public to engage in fitness activities.

2. Public Accessibility:

The fitness centre is open to the public, offering residents access to top-notch equipment and training facilities. This inclusivity fosters community engagement and promotes the school as a hub for overall well-being.

3. Diverse Equipment Selection:

Origin Fitness provided a range of high-quality equipment, including various free weights; Origin RB3 Barbell Set, Crumb Rubber Bumper Plates, and Origin Adjustable pulley in the main area, complemented with dumbbell storage. In the cardio section, Origin Storm Rower, Origin Ski Trainer, and the Storm Air Bike offers a variety of training options. This diverse selection accommodates various fitness levels and preferences.

4. Community Engagement Initiatives:

To encourage a sense of community, the fitness centre hosts workshops, fitness classes, and events open to both students and the public. These initiatives promote a shared commitment to health and wellness.
