Origin Fitness Awarded SME Employer of the Year 2019

We are delighted to share the incredible news that last night, at the Business Insider Scottish SME Awards, Origin Fitness won the esteemed title of "Employer of the Year 2019".

The event took place last night at the Double Tree Hilton Hotel in Glasgow and there were a total of six categories, with winners from various industries including oil & gas, data, manufacturing, logistics and of course the fitness industry.

It is our vision to become the best to work with and the best to work for, striving to be better every single day. This award acts as a reminder that the hard work and dedication of our team towards that vision is paying off.

Origin Fitness now boasts a team of over 60 people, based both in Scotland and across the rest of the UK, and has grown by a total of 22 individuals over the past 12 months.

Our efforts to improve their every working day included the introduction of several internal schemes and rewards, as it is one of our core objectives to retain and develop the best talent in the industry to help continue delivering great service.

Due to our continued efforts to improve the working day, many of our staff are choosing to stay with Origin Fitness beyond five years, or pursue training and career development in-house. When compiling our data, we discovered that our staff have worked for Origin Fitness for a total of 253 years. Considering Origin Fitness has existed for 11 years now, this is an achievement we're very proud of!
