Fitness Brands Adapting to Coronavirus Lockdown

There's a lot of advice out there for gyms adapting to coronavirus at the moment. About how to keep your members engaged and about how to deliver your product remotely in these really challenging times.

Instead of advice or tips though, we've decided to pull together this list of some of the best initiatives and resources we've seen rolled out by our friends and partners. Hopefully, it gives just you some inspiration for what to do to help your business through COVID-19.

Gymshark | Online Workouts & PT Support

Our friends at Gymshark are running Facebook Live workouts on the hour, every hour between 10 am and 10 pm. To do this they've recruited a huge team of trainers who have been struggling for work and have given them an hourly rate to create online workouts. These are going out live to support their mammoth and fiercely loyal global fanbase.

Lift the Bar | PT Education and Support

Chris Burgess and the team at Lift the Bar have opened up a section of their amazing platform to give trainers access to coronavirus specific resources. These aim to help them navigate some of the current challenges faced.

Social Media | Live Workouts

No doubt your social feeds are full of live and recorded workouts from gyms and trainers adapting to coronavirus lockdown. We wanted to highlight our friends at Club300 and their 'quaranteam' who quickly adapted and set up Facebook live sessions, free to the wider community as well as members. If you're looking for more inspiration, we've also been loving the Instagram live workouts from the teams over Gymbox and Third Space

Fiit TV | Supporting NHS Workers

Our awesome friends at Fiit TV operate an amazing live and on-demand fitness app, to which they're giving out FREE premium subscriptions to NHS staff. For anyone who can access this, the Fiit App takes at-home fitness solutions to another level.

Myzone | Gym Operator Webinars

Our partners over at Myzone are running daily 30-minute webinars for gym operators on how to stay connected with your members during these troublesome times. Join them for some top tips on how to keep members active from home. Find out more by reaching out to Myzone.

Les Mills | On-Demand Access

Group exercise powerhouse Les Mills is offering free access to their Les Mills On Demand platform to facilities running Les Mills programmes. There’s a 14-day trial open for the wider public too.

At Origin Fitness we're sharing regular updates about the situation in the news section of our website.

We continue to with all of our customers and their clients the best in these challenging times. If there's anything at all we can do please be sure to reach out.
